Idol AU is a MM fanfiction style novel, based on the Canon short story written by AM Rose for the multi author series Because Canon Sucks. In Canon, Milo and Rowan miss out on their happy ever after, so this series strives to give them one in every other universe.

Performance: I think I could listen to Zachary Zaba forever. The way he voices the characters just brings them to life. I feel like his voice is so familiar to me now that there is never any disconnect when I start listening to one of his projects. I just zone in on the story immediately. There is something special about that in my mind. When it comes to audiobooks I want to listen to over and over again, any book that Zaba narrates will be at the top of my list.
Story: I absolutely love Rye Cox. I read all of her books. I’m super happy always having a happy ending. There is this little bit of push and pull like when is this gonna happen because you know it’s gonna happen. I love Idol AU. Everything from the chapter notes to how super romantic Rowan and Milo are together. I absolutely love Milo being a chaos goblin. I love Milo in each and every AU book so far. I love Rowan and his family. Having this same set of familiar characters in each AU helps make the books feel complete. I look forward to entire ensemble of family not just Milo and Rowan.
